Astronomy and Astrology

Some may find it easy to confuse astronomy and astrology. In current use, astronomy is concerned with “the study of objects and matter outside the world’s atmosphere,” while astrology is the purported divination of how stars and planets influence our lives. Put bluntly, astronomy is a science, and astrology is not.

Astronomy:

Orbit of the moon we live on, Gas giant in the sky, and other heavenly bodies.

The gas giant in the sky is called “VaporSphere”.

Names of the planets and moons.

Shadow of the moon on the gas giant.

The star that shines in the sky is called “helios”.

Weather patterns of the Gas giant.

Navigation.

VaporShpere goes around Helios in an elliptical orbit. This causes the seasons on Saṃsāra.

Astrology:

Mystical.

Telling the future.

                Pictures in the night sky.

Stories from the past.

Omens: sensational, temporal, or particularly pointed features that offer narrative functions of foreshadowing, and good or evil portents. Can subvert tropes with a Wild Goose Chase.
