Even though it flows out from the base of the wearer it never seems to touch the ground.

How It Is Served or Offered: The Cloak of Timeless Step is rarely sold in ordinary markets. It is usually bestowed upon worthy avatars by the Timekeepers after a series of tests or quests that prove the individual’s readiness for the responsibilities that come with owning such a cloak. Once approved, the cloak is presented in a ceremonial manner, carefully folded within a box made of ageless wood and sealed with runes. A brief incantation unlocks the time-warding spells, allowing the new owner to wear it and step into their destiny.

Tale of Cloak that Steps Through Ages

Once in time-so-far, lived man named Thelion. Him held secret Time-Sand, Temporal Silk, and Ethereal Wing Quill. Man wanted cloak—cloak to walk through ages, escape present, see what others can’t. Him visited wise oracle who speaks with clouds, reads stars. Oracle warned Thelion: “Make cloak? Time is river—never still. Step in river, become part flow.”

Thelion not listen. Him return home-place, chant old-world verses, combine Time-Sand, Silk, and Quill. Cloak made. Beautiful like moon-glow, shimmer like dawn. Him wore it, stepped through time-veil. Saw wars never fought, loves never born, skies of colors never named. Thelion thought him rich—richest of men.

But, time river is tricky. Once you part, you always part. Thelion return, found no home, no family, no self. Him was ghost, forever lost between ticks of clock. Only cloak remained, left on rocks where once was Thelion’s home, waiting new owner to tempt with promises of time-stepping.
