Too many lies hid beneath the surface of things, and so the master grew tired, searching for what was not hidden by false light.
In the mountains where clouds made homes, there was found a cave that opened its mouth only for the chosen. The one who walked the night entered, bearing nothing but broken truths in heart. Inside, the wind did not move, but whispers lived in stone. They told the crafter of glass that could see without seeing, and of metals born from stars that fell in silence. For one hundred moons, the hands of the crafter shaped the shards, grinding the black stone until it held the reflection of void. Threads of shadow pulled from the wind itself were woven to bind the glass, and a frame of dark steel was made by calling to the bones of fallen stars.
