Effect: In your zeal to prove your commitment, you overextend yourself, leaving no room for adaptability. You must follow through with your next action, even if it becomes disadvantageous. For the next two turns, you have disadvantage on all attack rolls as your rigid commitment causes you to miss opportunities and overlook alternatives.
Card Name: Burden of Obligation
Effect: The weight of your commitment begins to drag you down, causing hesitation and doubt. You suffer a -2 penalty to all saving throws for the next three turns as you wrestle with the heavy burden of your promises. Additionally, one ally within 15 feet must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or also suffer a -1 penalty to their next attack roll, as they feel the pressure of your obligations.
Card Name: Tunnel Vision
Effect: Your unwavering commitment blinds you to the broader situation, causing you to focus too narrowly on your current objective. You lose your ability to react to new threats or opportunities. For the next turn, you are unable to make opportunity attacks or take reactions, and one enemy of the Game Master’s choice gains advantage on their next attack against you as they exploit your single-mindedness.
Green Deck (Crit Cards)
Card Name: Unyielding Determination
Effect: Your commitment to your cause grants you strength beyond your limits. For the next two turns, you gain a +2 bonus to all Strength-based checks and attack rolls as your determination empowers your every action. Additionally, one ally within 30 feet gains advantage on their next saving throw as your example bolsters their resolve.
Card Name: Steadfast Loyalty
Effect: Your unwavering loyalty to your allies strengthens the bonds between you. You and one ally within 15 feet each gain 5 temporary hit points and a +2 bonus to armor class for the next two turns, as your commitment to each other’s safety reinforces your defenses. If either of you is hit during this time, the other can immediately make a retaliatory attack with a +1 bonus to hit.
Card Name: Focused Purpose
Effect: Your commitment to your goal sharpens your focus, allowing you to see the best path forward. Your next attack automatically hits and deals an additional 1d6 damage as your purpose drives your strike home. Additionally, if the attack reduces an enemy to 0 hit points, you regain 1d4 hit points as the satisfaction of fulfilling your commitment renews your energy.
