Mischievous Mirage
Description: The character believes they’ve spotted a valuable item or an open opportunity, but it’s merely an illusion, a trick of the light.
Effect: On their next turn, the character is compelled to move towards the mirage, taking them potentially out of position or into a trap. Allies who observe the character’s cheeky dash are momentarily distracted, resulting in a slight delay in their next action.
Mocking Mimicry
Description: An enemy adopts the character’s mannerisms in a mocking fashion, throwing off the character’s focus.
Effect: The character faces a disadvantage in their next action due to the distraction. Additionally, the enemy performing the mimicry receives a temporary boost in evasion for the next turn, making them harder to hit.
Taunting Temptation
Description: A cheeky foe dangles a tempting bait in front of the character, luring them into a disadvantageous situation.
Effect: The character is drawn towards the bait on their next turn, potentially exposing themselves to additional threats. An ally witnessing this might rush to help, but in doing so, faces a minor disadvantage in their next action.
Green Deck – Cheeky-Related Crit Cards:
Playful Ploy
Description: With a wink and a nod, the character executes a cheeky maneuver, catching their foes off guard.
Effect: The character can immediately take an additional minor action or movement. One chosen enemy, taken by surprise, loses their next reaction, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up actions.
Jester’s Jest
Description: The character cracks a timely joke or performs a whimsical action, lightening the mood and bolstering the team’s spirits.
Effect: Allies within a 15-foot radius gain a temporary morale boost, giving them a minor advantage in their next action. One chosen enemy, confused or amused by the jest, has a reduced defense for the next turn.
Sneaky Snatch
Description: Using a cheeky distraction, the character manages to swipe an item or gain a tactical advantage.
Effect: The character can immediately inspect a nearby enemy, potentially obtaining an item or information. Alternatively, they can reposition themselves on the battlefield without provoking an attack of opportunity. One ally, inspired by the character’s cheekiness, gains a temporary speed boost for their next turn.
