2. Echoing Whispers
Effect: Mysterious whispers flood the minds of an ally within 20 feet, causing them to question their actions.
The targeted ally must make their next skill check at a disadvantage.
Roleplay Element: Whispering voices fill the air, originating from nowhere and everywhere. The selected ally becomes disoriented and bewildered, unable to focus as the whispers grow louder in their mind.
3. Mirage of Misfortune
Effect: An enemy within sight appears more formidable, distorting your team’s perception.
An enemy gains temporary hit points equal to their level for one round.
Roleplay Element: A wave of illusion washes over an enemy, making them appear larger, stronger, and more menacing. The unsettling image leaves your team bewildered, underestimating the real challenge ahead.
Green Deck: “Crit” Cards
1. Clearing Skies
Effect: Your successful attack disperses illusions and clarifies vision for allies within 15 feet.
Allies gain advantage on Wisdom checks for the next round.
Roleplay Element: Your strike resonates with a purifying energy that dissipates any illusions or fogs, leaving a zone of clear understanding that lifts the state of bewilderment from your allies.
2. Piercing Truth
Effect: Your attack reveals the weakness of an enemy within 30 feet, making them easier to strike.
The next attack against this enemy gains advantage.
Roleplay Element: A momentary burst of intuitive insight accompanies your successful strike. The true form of one enemy is revealed, dispelling any lingering bewilderment among your allies regarding how to confront it.
3. Aura of Lucidity
Effect: A serene aura radiates from you, calming and focusing an ally within 20 feet.
The chosen ally can reroll one failed skill check within the next round.
Roleplay Element: Your successful attack releases a soothing energy that envelops an ally. The aura penetrates confusion, offering a brief moment of lucid thought amid the bewilderment.
After the effects of these cards have been executed and recorded, each card is to be returned to the bottom of its corresponding deck.
