Why Bestowed:  This title is awarded to those whose aggression isn’t just about primal fury, but destructive power. Earned through:

• Battlefield Devastation: They leave a trail of ruin in their wake – shattered fortifications, sundered weapons, and demoralized foes.
• Raw Physical Might: They possess exceptional strength focused on overwhelming opponents and forcing their way through obstacles.
• Strategic Destruction: They have a knack for finding structural weaknesses, exploiting chokepoints to gain an advantage, or collapsing an environment upon their foes.

Lore: Ravagers are viewed with a mixture of fear and begrudging respect. They’re invaluable siege-breakers and terrifying foes, but their destructive tendencies can make allies nervous.

Stats:

• Strength: Significantly increased, their primary attribute.
• Constitution: Increased, reflecting their toughness and ability to power through punishment.
• Dexterity: May be slightly below average, as they prioritize sheer force over refined technique.

Magic Powers: Limited initially.  As they progress, a Ravager might gain earth-based abilities – causing tremors, manipulating terrain for destructive purposes, etc.

Magic Skills:

• Shockwave: The Ravager can channel their aggression into a focused burst of force, staggering foes and potentially rupturing fragile objects.
• Forceful Entry: Doors, barricades, and even some walls pose little obstacle to their overwhelming strength.
• Tremorsense: Through contact with the ground, they gain a rudimentary sense of vibrations, detecting hidden enemies or identifying structural weaknesses.

How the Ravager title can be roleplayed in various environments, emphasizing their destructive style for both offense and defensive applications:

• OFFENSE
  • Siege Engine: On the battlefield, they’re living battering rams. Fortifications are their primary targets – crumbling walls, splintering gates, and collapsing siege towers under their might.
  • Shock Trooper: They excel at shattering enemy formations. They charge in, swinging wildly or delivering focused strikes to sunder armor and scatter groups, opening gaps for allies to exploit.
  • Environment Manipulator: The terrain is their weapon. Collapsing tunnels on foes, rupturing the ground to impede movement, using debris for impromptu cover or projectiles – the Ravager reshapes the battlefield on the fly.
  • Intimidation Factor: Their reputation precedes them. Just their presence can destabilize the enemy’s morale, particularly when facing defenders relying on fortifications.
• DEFENSE — The Ravager’s defense relies on sheer force and clever utilization of their destructive talents:
  • Chokepoint Defender: They hold narrow passages with terrifying efficiency. Collapsing archways, toppling statues on attackers, and even just their raw strength makes them a nearly-immovable obstacle.
  • Retreat Disruptor: When covering a retreat, their focus is on area denial. Creating rubble, destroying bridges, or collapsing passages behind them, turning a tactical fallback into a chaotic obstacle course for pursuers.
  • Mobile Threat: They don’t stand still. On defense, a Ravager constantly shifts the situation, tearing down defensive barricades the enemy relies upon, forcing foes to adapt to their constant destruction.

In the age before metals, when men carved their homes from living rock, a warrior named Kael rose to legend. Kael was not a swordsman of grace, nor a strategist of cunning. He was a Ravager, a colossus who wielded the earth itself as his weapon.

His fists could shatter stone like brittle clay. His warcry echoed through mountains, causing rockfalls and tremors. When Kael marched to war, the ground itself seemed to groan under his tread.

Legends tell of Kael’s exploits. He led his people against a tyrannical empire, their cities built upon stolen wealth and guarded by towering bronze walls. Kael cleaved through their ranks like a boulder through water. He slammed his fists against the city gates, and the very foundations trembled, crumbling the metal into dust.

Yet, Kael’s rage was a double-edged axe. His fury at injustice fueled his victories, but it also blinded him to the consequences of his actions. In his zeal for destruction, he leveled not just the tyrant’s palace, but the surrounding districts as well. The people he liberated were left homeless amidst the smoking ruins.

Horrified, Kael realized the devastation he had wrought. The land he had sworn to protect was poisoned, his people threatened.
