Some cities and areas are populated by people that want to live in a culture like a past life that they remember.

Not only do people tend to go to the countries that are of the race that they remember, but they are paid to do so if they are currently of that race.

A person of the same race as the kings and queens of a country receives 1000 gold the first time the visit the royal court. The sponsor of the person that is of the same race as the king and queen also gets 1000 gold.
