In the realm of Saṃsāra, the omnipotence of the gods finds its wellspring in the devotion of their followers. Every adherent possesses a unique degree of unwavering faith that they can bestow upon the gods, bestowing them with power. The potency of a deity rests upon the cumulative faith vested in them by others.
The arcane currents within the world of Saṃsāra course akin to atmospheric patterns through the fabric of existence. These mystical flows serve as a well that the gods access for their individual intentions. A portion of this font is drawn from Gaialilith herself, the sovereign and matriarch of the divine pantheon. Under her sovereign will, this font is apportioned and harmonized.
Yet not all might be directly sourced from the gods. As magic meanders through the cosmic loom, it can be directly harnessed by the might of one’s cognition. Nevertheless, this feat demands a focal point—an object—through which the arcane streams can materialize within Saṃsāra’s realm. These focal points are confined to the magical patterns inscribed into them.
