Avatars are strong when close to the rest of the party. When in a party a member of a party may use tier die depending upon the tear level they have reached. This is character based but passed on to the avatar when rolling for attacks.
Teir Level | Dice used |
1 | 1d4 |
2 | 2d6 |
3 | 3d8 |
4 | 4d10 |
5 | 5d12 |
Tier dice decreases as a penalty the further away from the party. You lose one tier die for the first 100 yards away from the party and lose an additional tier die for each mile there after until no tier dice are left.
In most cases the tier dice is rolled with a d20 die to give the resulting totals.
(Note: “die” refers to singular and “dice” is plural.)
- The table above means that at tier 1 (for most cases) a d20 and a single d4 is rolled.
- The table above means that at tier 2 (for most cases) a d20 and two d6 is rolled.
- The table above means that at tier 3 (for most cases) a d20 and three d8 is rolled.
- The table above means that at tier 4 (for most cases) a d20 and four d10 is rolled.
- The table above means that at tier 5 (for most cases) a d20 and five d12 is rolled.
