Mana Boost

Mana boost is kept on each avatar and can be no more than 10 times the characters tier. Once gained it dissipates at a rate of one point per day, this continues between sessions.

Mana (or spell energy) can be used as a bonus boost to damage. It is a straight damage that is known as “silver fire spell power” and cannot be resisted by any creature. It can be used after an attack is known to hit to add damage. Any amount can be used if it is equal to or less than what the avatar has. No action penalties apply to “silver fire spell power”.

If the avatar has this, it is important to hang on to if the avatar can. As a reaction a single point of mana can be used to stop the avatar from dying. Whatever the damage that was taken, this leaves the avatar with one health point.

Two mana boost points are awarded to each existing avatar at the beginning of each session.

When an avatar is initially possessed by a character, they are given one Mana boost point.

Some items may produce mana boost points. The rate of mana production will be described for each item.
