Appearance: The Avionarth has the head and wings of a red-tailed hawk, the body and fur of an American black bear, the shell and fins of a green sea turtle, and the tentacles and suction cups of a common octopus. Its feathers are black with a red tail, and its fur is dark brown. Its shell is green with a pattern of darker spots. The Avionarth stands at around 7 feet tall and 10 feet long from head to tail, with a wingspan of 12 feet.

Behavior: The Avionarth is a solitary and intelligent predator that hunts primarily from the air but can also swim and climb trees. It is territorial and aggressive towards intruders, defending its hunting grounds fiercely. It is also a scavenger, and will eat almost anything it can find.
