- If they have memories from a previous life (possessed) when killed the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks, leaving behind items where they died.
- If they do not have memories from a precious life when killed the monsters lay on the ground in a pool of their own blood. You can then search the body for items or cut them up for parts.
This could become gory and should be discussed in session zero to see what the Guide Manager (GM) and players want.
This is a highly populated world with a high level of magic. Most creatures live in groups that may become towns, cities, or metropolises. There is a high amount of intermingling between the creatures of the world because a percentage of them have memories from another life. Many of the higher-level creatures are composed of a gestalt of avatars that are normally different species.
Creatures in this world may become powerful but they may not advance beyond the first tear unless they have memories from a past life.
The memories normally cannot merge with a creature unless the creature is willing. Once merged the creature becomes an avatar of the memories. Memories give the creature the ability to advance in certain areas in a much easier way.
