Death is the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that maintains an organism. In the world of Saṃsāra there are levels (tiers – a ranking system) that life may be quantified in to for the purpose of abilities disciplined by the pantheon of gods. In most cases this also applies to constructs and the undead.
- Tier 1 (General NPC):
- If this avatar (sentient people, beast, constructs, or undead of the world) dies and they have not been possessed they leave behind a corpse along with anything they were carrying.
- This includes children that have not aged to the point of becoming an adult.
- If a Non-sentient life form, feral beast, constructs, or undead (organisms lacking consciousness) which may not be possessed dies they leave behind a corpse along with anything they were carrying.
- If this avatar (sentient people, beast, constructs, or undead of the world) dies and they have not been possessed they leave behind a corpse along with anything they were carrying.
- Tier 1 (possessed):
- If this avatars dies and they have been possessed by the soul of another being (which may be an Isekai Character from any time of any location of the multiverse including in real life (IRL)) then the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks, leaving behind a crystal and the items they had when they died.
- When the Character is possessing only one avatar which dies the character becomes 100% hungry to possess another avatar. They can over come this if the player want to retire from the game and choose to return to the pool of souls yet to be chosen to be reincarnated in the multiverse.
- Tier 2: (possessed):
- If one of two avatars that have been possessed by the soul of another being (which may be an Isekai Character from any time of any location of the multiverse including in real life (IRL)) dies then the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks, leaving behind a crystal, memories (which becomes part of the character), and the items they had when they died (unless they are part of a party which has chosen to have their gear go to the parties inventory).
- When the Character is possessing two avatars and one avatar dies the character becomes 50% hungry to possess another avatar. They can over come this if the player wants to delay possessing another avatar until a later time or they may try to possess another avatar even in the middle of battle.
- Tier 3: (possessed):
- If one of three avatars that have been possessed by the soul of another being (which may be an Isekai Character from any time of any location of the multiverse including in real life (IRL)) dies then the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks, leaving behind a crystal, memories (which becomes part of the character), and the items they had when they died (unless they are part of a party which has chosen to have their gear go to the parties inventory).
- When the Character is possessing three avatars and one avatar dies the character becomes 33% hungry to possess another avatar. They can over come this if the player wants to delay possessing another avatar until a later time or they may try to possess another avatar even in the middle of battle.
- Tier 4: (possessed):
- If one of four avatars that have been possessed by the soul of another being (which may be an Isekai Character from any time of any location of the multiverse including in real life (IRL)) dies then the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks, leaving behind a crystal, memories (which becomes part of the character), and the items they had when they died (unless they are part of a party which has chosen to have their gear go to the parties inventory).
- When the Character is possessing four avatars and one avatar dies the character becomes 25% hungry to possess another avatar. They can over come this if the player wants to delay possessing another avatar until a later time or they may try to possess another avatar even in the middle of battle.
- Tier 5: (possessed):
-
- If one of five avatars that have been possessed by the soul of another being (which may be an Isekai Character from any time of any location of the multiverse including in real life (IRL)) dies then the avatar vaporizers into a cloud of sparks leaving behind a crystal.
- When a tier five avatar dies any items worn or carried on the avatar vanish with them in to nothingness.
- When the Character is possessing five avatars and one avatar dies the character becomes 20% hungry to possess another avatar. They can over come this if the player wants to delay possessing another avatar until a later time or they may try to possess another avatar even in the middle of battle.
- gods:
- If a god dies they may leave behind their corpse which has high status power that may be exploited by other beings.
